The prologue and chapter 1 get you acquainted with Jul, my first narrator. She’s had it pretty tough, but when her father goes missing and she’s sent to live with her estranged grandmother, she’ll finally get to put together some of the pieces explaining her isolated life – and maybe even make a few friends along the way.
